Baby Dedication
What is Baby Dedication
Dedicating children to the Lord was a common practice of blessing among God's people in both the Old and New Testament periods. It was also a statement of recognition from the parents that their child really belonged to God. As Christians today, we dedicate children with this same purpose in mind.
Dedication is a public expression of faith and commitment on the part of parents, and a blessing from God through His church. A dedication celebration is more than a ritual. It's a commitment by parents to honor the will and the Word of God through His church. How often do we hold baby dedication ceremonies?Baby Dedications are held twice a year at RMCC, in January and in June, for the parents of infants and young children.
